Agriculture Department.
Year 2014 begun with a smooth start. Both the department teachers were new to the College and took the year with challenge. There were all together 214 students from year 9 to year 13 taking agriculture, this saw a rise in student interest in the subject. Term one was full of activities. All practical classes started, the weather was most suitable supporting field activities, this made it possible for our department to be successful in Practical classes in 2014. Department carried out poultry, aquaculture and various vegetable crop as practical task for the year. Students had the opportunity to observe and carry out these task at school. With these words I would like to thank Mr Josua Buliwalaga and Mrs Miriama Kuriloa for the hard work they have shown throughout the year and would like to wish each and everyone Mary Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

Home Economics Department.
Home Economics is a highly relevant and vibrant subject for all pupils in today’s health orientated society. It is an optional subject on the curriculum offered at Votualevu College and a popular choice both in junior and senior cycle, particularly amongst the female student cohort. A small yet relatively substantial number of boys have opted to study Home Economics.
